Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven Head of Brand to lead the growth of Astro’s brand presence and organic traffic, increasing brand awareness and driving the business forward. This role is pivotal in planning and executing branding moments, major marketing campaigns, and leading out-of-the-box and impactful go-to-market strategies. The Head of Brand will be responsible for aligning cross-functional teams to influence and prioritize brand-focused initiatives that enhance the user experience and grow brand loyalty.

Job Description

As our Astronaut, you will be doing:

  • Brand Strategy Development. Lead the development of an overarching brand strategy that elevates Astro’s unique selling proposition (USP) of convenience and a vast assortment, ensuring consistent and bold storytelling across all channels that speak to users and non-users.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution. Conceptualize and execute large-scale market moment campaigns (e.g., Ramadan, company anniversary, year-end), ensuring alignment with business goals and consumer insights. Oversee the creation of video ads’ narrative and placement, as well as the objective of driving brand awareness and effectively communicating Astro’s USP.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Leadership. Develop and execute end-to-end GTM strategies for new launches and initiatives, coordinating across internal departments such as product, promo, operations and digital marketing.
  • Data-Driven Brand Health Monitoring. Utilize quarterly brand health surveys and consumer insights to measure the impact of branding activities. Provide actionable insights to continuously improve brand positioning and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration. Partner with product, promotion, and marketing teams to influence the prioritization of features that drive higher brand love and user appreciation. Collaborate with the campaign team to assess and quantify the potential business impact of these initiatives.
  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management. Lead and mentor teams in offline partnerships, social media, brand strategy, and brand placement. Ensure all teams work cohesively to create a unified brand narrative and maximize the return on marketing investments. Regularly engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment on brand direction and campaign outcomes. Provide clear, data-backed updates and structured reports on progress and results.
  • Brand Performance Measurement. Oversee the analysis of marketing spend and ensure campaigns are delivering measurable ROI. Lead brand placement team in calculating the dollar impact of branding efforts.
  • Innovation & Problem-Solving. Drive innovation in branding tactics by staying informed of industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and competitive actions. Lead with a problem-solving mindset to overcome challenges and pivot strategies when necessary.
  • Organizational Excellence. Ensure meticulous project management and execution of branding initiatives, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail across all aspects of brand marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in brand management or marketing, with a focus on digital and organic growth.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale market moment campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights, with the ability to turn data into actionable brand strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and prioritize initiatives that align with brand goals.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and organized with a strong ability to follow through on complex projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Experience with brand health monitoring tools and analysis.
