  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Able to do engineering and design for Fire and Gas detection and suppression systems in accordance with international standards (e.g. NFPA) and project specifications
  • Provides daily technical support to instrument and electrical technicians and supervisors during installation.
  • Involved in Fire Alarm Detection System Design and installation.
  • Involved in Gas Detection Design and installation.
  • Involved in Fire Suppression design and installation.
  • Involved in preparing Intrinsically Safe calculation for Instruments.
  • Involved in HVAC design control philosophy and instrumentation.
  • Involved in preparing mapping list for interface to customer.
  • Involved in preparing bill of materials and liaise with customer and suppliers for any engineering query.
  • Involved in design and construction document preparation and submissions.

Job Requirements
  • Must know basic fire alarm detection system.
  • Must know gas detection system.
  • Must know HVAC instrumentation.
  • Must know PLC logic.
  • Have knowledge in basic electrical design.
  • Know how to do electrical cable sizing, voltage drop, cable gland sizing and cable schedule.
  • Know how to do overcurrent protection device sizing and selection.
  • Know how to select instrument rating as per the requirement such as tubing, transmitters and etc.
  • Willing to be based overseas in Batam.
