Role Description

A Corporate Communication Intern with a focus on Broadcasting or Videography typically has specific requirements related to support producing visual and multimedia content. The candidate will support Corporate Communication & Relations Department.

Qualifications

1. Education:

Currently pursuing (Final Year) or recently completed a degree majoring in Communications , Visual communication Design, Media Studies, Film Production, Broadcasting, or related fields.

2. Technical Skills:

• Videography: Proficiency in filming and recording high-quality video content using professional cameras, drones, or other videography tools.

• Editing Software: Strong skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Graphic Design (optional): Basic knowledge of design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva to create supporting visual elements.

• Lighting & Sound: Understanding of lighting setups and sound recording for different types of video production (interviews, events, advertisements, etc.).

• Broadcasting Tools: Experience with live streaming platforms, broadcasting software, and setting up equipment for live events may be required.

3. Creativity and Storytelling:

• Ability to brainstorm creative video concepts that align with the company's communication goals.

• Skills in crafting compelling narratives through visuals and sound, aligning with the corporate brand image and voice.

4. Communication Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to understand project briefs, collaborate with team members, and express ideas effectively.

• Ability to give and receive feedback and work within a corporate team environment.

5. Attention to Detail:

• Strong focus on ensuring video quality in terms of framing, composition, and technical execution.

• Attention to branding and messaging consistency in corporate communication.

6. Organizational Skills:

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, especially when producing video content for various campaigns or events.

• Familiarity with project management tools to organize the video production schedule and collaborate with other departments.

7. Knowledge of Corporate Communication:

• Understanding of the role of corporate communication in branding, public relations, and stakeholder engagement.

• Familiarity with social media platforms and how video content can be optimized for different channels (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

8. Portfolio:

• A portfolio showcasing previous videography, video editing, or broadcasting projects is often required to demonstrate skills and creativity.

9. Soft Skills:

• Teamwork: Ability to work with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, PR, or other communication professionals.

• Time Management: Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines for video production.

• Adaptability: Willingness to learn new tools and techniques in video production and broadcasting.
