Currently we are looking for Financial Control Governance role.

Key Responsibilities:

Unit-Linked Management

  1. Develop and/or enhance policies, standards and procedures related to unit-linked daily management.
  2. Review and set up operational process, control and system requirement for new unit-linked products and/or new unit-linked funds.
  3. Manage and ensure NAV valuation and fund allocation are recorded properly and delivered timely, include data reconciliation process from internal and external sources.
  4. Liaise with Third-Party Administrator related to unit-linked daily management.
  5. Prepare monthly report to management contains unit-linked management update in current month.
  6. Monitor issues or breaches related to unit-linked management as well as report and present them in management in quarterly basis.
  7. Ad-hoc jobs as assigned.

Control and Governance

  1. Monitor and maintain list of control related to Internal Control over Financial Reporting.
  2. Ensure control documentation for all processes across the Company is reviewed and updated periodically.
  3. Responsible for Group quarterly reporting submission on control effectiveness and exposure over balance sheet items.
  4. Manage exposure over balance sheet items by coordinating with respective department.
  5. Liaise with internal and external auditors over internal control issues, as well as work with respective department to agree the issues and determine remedial actions.
  6. Ensure policies, standard and procedures in Finance function are updated and properly documented.
  7. Primary contact for external auditor in relation to control testing.
  8. Monitor annual audit processes and review audit supporting documents.
  9. Liaise with departments across the Company to ensure timeliness of control testing and annual audit processes.
  10. Ad-hoc jobs as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance Reporting area
  • Experience as external auditor in Public Accountant Firm would be an advantage
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Able to work independently or in a team and be able to work under pressure
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
