A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Service Operations Supervisor like you, to oversee and bring expertise to our team.

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defence vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage service job business activity both workshop and field to achieve satisfactory completion
  • Improve and maintain high level of efficiency in document control
  • Manage workshop and all related facilities and devices (Workshop Lay out and arrangement covers: Dyno Test Bench set, Cranes, Workshop machining devices, Lifting Devices) in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures
  • Ensure the utilization of manpower is in line with the utilization target
  • Provide technical support and advise to the customer as required in coordination with Product Support
  • Maintain a customer satisfaction database with active involvement to improve customer relation and satisfy customer's requirements in accordance with Service Operation activities
  • To report to Superior with complete and correct documentations in timely manner
  • Lead and encourage the team to achieve the department objective
  • Ensure the Development of people's skills within the team are well implemented
  • Assure HSE standards and zero harm policy
  • Special assignments

Requirements

  • Trade certificate or Diploma in Engineering with at least 5 years working experience in diesel engine service business including 2 years in supervisory role.
  • Proven administrative skill and knowledge
  • Has a good sense of interpersonal skills
  • Mature and able to manage working under pressure
  • Proactive and has sense of effective communication skills Familiar with MS Office
  • Proficient written and oral English
  • Good analytical skill, result-oriented, effective working independently as well as contributing to a team effort
  • Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge and training on diesel engines service and parts.
