Position Summary

Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, business partnering & analysis, forecasting/budgeting, costing, reporting & internal control processes. The Finance Manager will oversea Finance team in Indonesia, while working closely with local/regional Finance team and management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company/Group's goals & ensure continuous improvement in financial & business processes. The position is based in Indonesia and reports to the Regional Finance Director – SEA in Malaysia.

You will play an essential role to:

  • Financial Accounting & Management: Manage daily finance and accounting operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of management accounts/reports, audit, and statutory financial reports
  • Financial Planning & Analysis & Business partnering: Support Company & Group’s strategic planning by performing financial analysis/modelling, prepare budgets/forecasts, financial statements and reports to assess the company's financial position on monthly/quarterly or as required
  • Implement management reporting guidelines, instructions, and content according to group reporting guidelines, policies, and standards.
  • Administer the Capex process as per authorization matrix and review and monitor return of investments
  • Follow up on key performance indicators
  • Ensure continuous improvement in financial/business processes and support M&A activities.
  • Support various projects and provide follow-ups and financial insight.
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to protect the company's assets and ensure the accuracy of its financial records

  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of all tax and indirect tax-related matters
  • Liaison between the local operations, customers, vendors, banks, auditors, legal counsels, regulators and agents to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Oversee stocktakes

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or any relevant discipline
  • At least 8 - 10 years working experience FMCG, MNC or any similar industries
  • Business partnering and manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Experience as plant controller and Oracle/SAP systems are preferred
  • Experience of working with multi-cultural teams across APAC.
  • Had experience in direct interaction with customers, suppliers, customs & licensing authorities.
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in advanced Excel for financial modeling and data analysis, with experience in data analytics tools for financial insights
  • Strong tax knowledge
  • Commercially astute, articulate, and technically strong; a dynamic and influential leader capable of operating at both strategic and operational levels
  • Proven track record in collaboration, financial management, business partnering, and continuous process improvement
  • Energetic, highly motivated, and inquisitive, with a passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success
  • Excellent leadership skills
