Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key telecom partners and regulators, ensuring seamless operations while driving future growth opportunities in the region.
  • Digital Transformation Leadership: Act as a trusted advisor, guiding partners through change management and digital transformation efforts, ensuring alignment with their evolving needs and long-term objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across partner organizations, building enduring relationships that facilitate additional business opportunities.
  • Executive Alignment: Work directly with founders and the leadership team to ensure cohesive business strategies, maintaining strong cross-border relationships that support sustainable growth and competitive market presence.

Ideal Experience:

  • Technical Acumen: You are able to hold technical conversations with partners and earn trust with understanding of the product offerings
  • C-Level Leadership: Proven experience at the c-level or in board advisory roles; retired CEOs are encouraged to apply.
  • Business Acumen: Expertise in P&L management, sales and marketing, or business development, with a history of exceeding service level expectations in key B2B relationships.
  • Extensive Industry Experience: 15+ years of experience in the consumer brand industry, ideally within SaaS, Internet, technology, or telecommunications, with a strong understanding of the local regulatory and competitive landscape.
  • Digital Mindset: A strong digital mindset with a passion for disrupting the status quo, complemented by an entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and resourcefulness to navigate challenges.
  • Global Perspective: Effective communication skills, with experience working or studying abroad and/or reporting to headquarters outside of Mexico.
  • Proven Track Record: A demonstrated history of building and scaling businesses, ideally from inception to $100M in revenue, within a B2C digital start-up or high-growth environment, leading teams of 30+ people.
