Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets.
- Identify key growth opportunities in the market and develop plans to capitalize on them.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the electrical asset monitoring industry.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any client issues promptly.
- Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews.
Sales Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Set clear performance goals and regularly evaluate team members.
Sales Operations:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales materials and campaigns.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and detailed reports to senior management.
- Ensure efficient use of CRM systems and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work:
- Work closely with other departments, such as product development and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide feedback to the product team based on client needs and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in power plant and other power related sectors
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and protection devices for electrical assets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
