Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Identify key growth opportunities in the market and develop plans to capitalize on them.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the electrical asset monitoring industry.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any client issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews.

Sales Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Set clear performance goals and regularly evaluate team members.

Sales Operations:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales materials and campaigns.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and detailed reports to senior management.
  • Ensure efficient use of CRM systems and maintain accurate records of sales activities.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as product development and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide feedback to the product team based on client needs and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in power plant and other power related sectors
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and protection devices for electrical assets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
