Responsibilities :
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and maintenance of the infrastructure supporting data center operations and Comfortable with 24/7 critical environment infrastructure and data center equipment requirements and reporting directly to Facility Manager
- Perform and supervise the maintenance of the data center core facility in providing the required services for customers in terms of mechanical, electrical, fire system, automation, and network.
- Owned and participated in all site-level mechanical system issues, such as HVAC systems, chillers, centrifugal refrigeration systems, cooling towers, In Row Cooling, AHUs, pumps, water treatment, etc., during the project execution phase.
- Develop reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analysis to optimize the performance and efficiency of data center operations.
- Analyze and evaluate mechanical system performance, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for upgrades.
- Analyze and coordinate maintenance and safety procedures, from maintaining redundant high-capacity cooling systems to operating and supporting datacenter backup electrical systems (diesel generators, rotary uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), etc.).
- Must be able to provide detailed information on the design and operation of the data center facilities to consultants, subcontractors, the field installation team, and the customer if required.
- Embody a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspects of the BDDC environment and activities
Requirements :
- Polytechnic or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Refrigeration or HVAC Specialized preferred), MEP or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in datacenter operations, engineering, or maintenance
- Experience in mechanical project installation, operation, and commissioning of central utility plants, water processing systems, and air distribution systems
- Advance knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, centrifugal refrigeration systems, fans, cooling towers, AHUs, pumps, and day-to-day operations in datacenters
- Understand, perform, and deeply know all common cooling calculations and basic power calculations on single- and 3-phase circuits.
- Have experience working with maintenance management systems, especially in a data center context.
- Understand and have experience in developing SOPs, work plans, MOPs, or other operational documentation.
- Good command of English, positive attitude, professional, responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn
- A good team player with an excellent attitude and the ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed
