Role Description

This is a contract Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for test execution, automation testing using Katalon, developing and maintaining automated test scripts, performing manual testing when necessary, and ensuring quality assurance processes are followed on-site. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and report defects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary and ensure test coverage for all scenarios.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and functionality.
  • Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for regression and functional testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s QA processes and procedures.
  • Generate test reports and provide feedback to development teams to improve product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Katalon Studio or other automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
  • Strong skills in test execution, automation testing, and manual testing.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and software testing methodologies.
  • Ability to create and maintain effective test cases and automated scripts.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
