Job Description: Part-time Education Specialist Consultant

Location : remote, from Jakarta, Indonesia.

Product team is located in Europe, working hours with the team are in CET time zone.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Education Specialist to join our Product team. This role will focus on both university and high school education sectors, encompassing both private and public institutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Indonesia’s educational landscape, regulations, and the integration of Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance teaching and learning experiences. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure that our LMS platform aligns with educational standards and regulations while meeting the unique needs of educators and students in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between Education and Technology: Act as the bridge between the education sector and the engineering team, ensuring our LMS meets the needs of educators and complies with educational regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our platform is aligned with national and regional educational policies, accreditation requirements, and data privacy regulations (such as those specific to the Indonesian educationalsystem).
  • LMS Expertise: Provide insights and feedback on the integration of various LMS platforms in educationalinstitutions, identifying best practices and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with universities and high schools to understand their unique needs in both public and private sectors, and how our platform can best support them.
  • Demo, Training & Support: Provide demos to prospect schools and Develop/deliver training materials to educators and administrators on how to use our platform effectively, incorporating insights from various LMS systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in the education sector, with direct involvement in both public and private schools or universities.
  • Proven experience working with different LMS platforms .
  • Strong understanding of the educational regulations and policies in Indonesia.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in technology or product development.
  • Languages: Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
