Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Import and Inventory Specialist to join our client's dynamic team in Jakarta. This role involves managing import processes and maintaining inventory levels, with a focus on warehouse management and working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

Responsibilities:

Import Management:

  • Manage all aspects of import documentation, including SKI (Surat Keterangan Impor), pre-shipment inspection, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with international suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with Indonesian import regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of any changes in policies.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation to customs and other relevant authorities.
  • Resolve any issues related to import shipments, including delays, damages, and discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and documentation.

Inventory and Warehouse Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to meet business needs.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate third-party logistics (3PL) providers to manage inventory storage, organization, and distribution.
  • Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
  • Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee warehouse operations in collaboration with 3PL providers, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in import management and inventory control, including warehouse management.
  • Strong understanding of Indonesian import regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
