Overview:We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Import and Inventory Specialist to join our client's dynamic team in Jakarta. This role involves managing import processes and maintaining inventory levels, with a focus on warehouse management and working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
Responsibilities:Import Management:
- Manage all aspects of import documentation, including SKI (Surat Keterangan Impor), pre-shipment inspection, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with international suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian import regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of any changes in policies.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation to customs and other relevant authorities.
- Resolve any issues related to import shipments, including delays, damages, and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and documentation.
Inventory and Warehouse Management:
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available to meet business needs.
- Perform regular inventory audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate third-party logistics (3PL) providers to manage inventory storage, organization, and distribution.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures.
- Oversee warehouse operations in collaboration with 3PL providers, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of products.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in import management and inventory control, including warehouse management.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian import regulations and documentation requirements.
- Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
