Position Summary:
You will be responsible for lead generation and building a pipeline of top quality prospects. As a manager, you will also be responsible for overseeing the company's SDR team. In addition, you will be strategic partner with an eye towards long term sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performance Sales Development team.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
Sales Development Strategy:
- Work closely with the executive team to define and execute the inside sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans for market penetration.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed strategic decisions.
Customer Engagement:
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with product positioning and customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Report Sales Metrics:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the inside sales team.
- Regularly assess and report on the team's performance against targets.
Training and Development:
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the inside sales team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through ongoing coaching and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the technology/AI/SaaS sector.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
