Job Description
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for cloud operations, aligning with the company's business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud engineers and operations professionals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the team.
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud and IT infrastructure environments
• Implement best practices for cloud management, including monitoring, automation, and disaster recovery.
• Develop and enforce cloud operation policies, standards, and procedures.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to cloud operations.
• Monitor cloud usage and optimize costs through effective resource management and strategic cloud provider relationships.
• Drive initiatives to reduce cloud operational expenses while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., PDP, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on cloud operations performance and strategy.
The Successful Applicant
• Possess Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in cloud operations, IT infrastructure management, or a similar role.
• Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and automation.
• Experience with cost management and optimization in cloud environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
