Alex Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our Scanners Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data platforms, ETL processes, and BI tools, with expertise in SQL, Python, and regular expressions. This role involves developing and enhancing our metadata extraction and processing framework, creating configurations for specific technologies, and ensuring high performance and reliability.

Day to day activities:

Design and implement robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the database systems.
Create and optimize logical and physical data models to support efficient data processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage, design, and deploy data structures to meet business needs.
Debug and resolve issues in data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and quality.
Utilize scripting languages (Python, Bash) and programming languages (Java, C#) for custom data transformations when necessary.
Work with a wide variety of databases and technologies to ensure seamless integration and data flow.

Required Qualifications:

Deep knowledge and understanding of SQL.
Proven experience with ETL processes and tools.
Broad experience with database systems and data modeling.
Exposure to a wide array of technologies in data engineering.
Strong understanding of debugging concepts.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and programming languages (Java, C#) is advantageous.
