BTI Executive Search is currently helping our regional client. They are looking for Head of Factory Production & Supply Chain, this role will cover South East Asian region.

Key Responsibilities:

Executing Regional SCM Strategy:

  • Implement and manage the regional Supply Chain Management (SCM) strategy.
  • Attain set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with the broader SCM strategy and regional demands.

Achieving Cost Efficiency and Promoting Improvement:

  • Achieve cost reductions as outlined in the business plan.
  • Foster a culture of ongoing improvement within your area of responsibility.

Streamlining Manufacturing and Logistics:

  • Create and oversee efficient manufacturing and logistics processes to meet quality, delivery, and performance benchmarks.

Ensuring HSE Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulations.
  • Follow all legal and corporate guidelines within your area.

Managing Inventory and Assortment:

  • Efficiently manage regional inventory and product assortment.
  • Minimize damages and operational downtimes within your scope.

Optimizing Production Capex:

  • Optimize capital expenditures related to production.
  • Execute projects with respect to timing, cost, and performance metrics.

Conducting Regional Procurement:

  • Oversee regional procurement activities in accordance with SCM guidelines.
  • Coordinate with global purchasing as necessary.

Enhancing Order Consolidation:

  • Improve order consolidation processes in collaboration with Business Units (BUs).
  • Ensure proper allocation to production resources.

Defining and Monitoring SCM Strategy and KPIs:

  • Develop and track regional SCM strategies, business plans, and KPI targets (e.g., cost, efficiency, lead times, inventory, quality) in line with the overall SCM and regional strategies.

Building Regional SCM Teams:

  • Integrate and develop the regional SCM team within a multicultural environment.
  • Define and manage budgets within your jurisdiction.

Analyzing and Improving Business Performance:

  • Evaluate business performance and implement improvement strategies.
  • Take corrective actions in response to any deviations.

Establishing Service Level Agreements:

  • Formulate service level agreements and operational protocols with BUs.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and third parties.

Developing SCM Strategies and Objectives:

  • Craft and pursue strategies and objectives for both Group SCM and the Region.

Implementing HSE Systems:

  • Deploy Health, Safety, and Environmental systems in line with standards.

Managing ISO Standards and Best Practices:

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce ISO standards and procedures.
  • Implement best practices in day-to-day operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in production and Supply Chain Management.
  • Extensive experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experiences in handling >100 people.
