Responsibilities
- Oversee daily distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and quality standards in all distribution activities.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate distribution staff and drivers to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.
- Plan and coordinate transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and distribution centers.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of stock movements in the warehouse
- Identify areas for improvement in distribution processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency
- Prepare reports on distribution metrics, including shipment accuracy, delivery times, and inventory levels.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on analysis of distribution data.
- Min. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Has at least 3-5 years of experience in a distribution or logistics role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Experience in managing teams and coordinating distribution activities.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
