Specific to this role:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent,
- At least 2 years experience as Data Engineer
- Statistics and a masters in math and data warehouse technology knowledge are a plus.
- Strive-to-thrive mentality, ready to work on creating the best technology solutions in a fast-paced startup, able to own mistakes, and possess a strong willingness to always improve.
- Design, develop and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, improving infrastructure to be more effective and scalable.
- Advanced knowledge and experiences in Spark Development, Kafka, ETL Framework,
- Strong experience in data management technologies such as SQL also mastering Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
- Fluent in Python, Java.
- In-depth understanding of best practices of logging, alerting, monitoring, and debugging.
