Role Description:

This is a contract Data Scientist role at Indonesia Indicator located in Bintaro, South Tangerang. The Data Scientist will be responsible for tasks such as:

Data Extraction & Processing

  1. Understanding the data processing, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Python or Apache.
  2. Able to work with small to medium-sized datasets from multiple sources for simple reports.

Reporting & Visualization

  1. Able to use visualization tools like Excel or Tableau to create reports and dashboards.
  2. Producing descriptive reports for internal purposes with a focus on common business metrics.

Collaboration

  1. Able to collaborate with other teams to gather data requirements and support initiatives.
  2. Participating in small projects under supervision.

Basic BI Tools Proficiency

  1. Familiar with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools for analysis.
  2. Understanding the data modeling in a data warehouse to provide simple feedback.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum Diploma/ Bachelor degree in Data Science/ IT/ Statistic/ Math/ Computer Science/ Electrical or related field.
  2. Fresh Graduate or maximum 1 year experience.
  3. Must have extensive skills at Python and Tableu.
  4. Able to use database such as My SQL and No SQL.
  5. Experience with data manipulation and cleaning.
  6. Experience in Data Analysis and Visualization is a must.
  7. Knowledge of machine learning techniques.
  8. Understand about Formula and Alogithm written in mathematical notation.
  9. Interest in statistical data, logical modeling, and prediction.
  10. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  11. Creative, good team player, and fast learner.
