Production Manager

The ideal candidate will own the entire production process. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• Formulate the department's annual objectives and key work plans based on the company's annual goals.
• Conduct a capacity review and analysis of the unit, develop an annual capacity planning proposal, and adjust capacity and staffing based on evaluation results to ensure that capacity meets the company's operational and business development requirements.
• Monitor cost indicators in the production processes of the canning line, lid-making line, and draw-and-iron can line. Analyze and control material losses and manufacturing expenses on a monthly basis.
• Oversee production organization and management in the workshop, including production safety, production technology, production quality, and equipment management.
• Be responsible for talent development within the department, including the reserve and training of frontline technical staff, junior management, and key positions.
• Complete temporary tasks assigned by superior.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in metal processing production management or more than 3 years of department supervisor experience.
• Proficient in metal processing and three-piece can-related knowledge, with expertise in lid-making processes and on-site management being preferred.
• Familiar with the production processes of canning and draw-and-iron cans, as well as knowledge of safety production management, production management, and quality management.
• Understands business management knowledge, safety production regulations, and labor laws.
• Skilled in lean production, Kanban management, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), TQM (Total Quality Management), and 6S management.
• No nationality or language restrictions, but proficiency in English or Chinese or Indonesian is preferred.
