Cook Helper

Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Cook Helper at PT. Saptama Raya Bersama in Sentul, Bogor. The Cook Helper will be responsible to support the Cook in food preparation, including chopping ingredients, cleaning equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen area.

Qualifications

• At least have 1 to 3 years experience working in the kitchen
• Having basic knowledge of cooking technique and food ingredients
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in an environment that may be hot
• Ability to communicate well within a team and possess good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
  
  

Job Descriptions

• Ensure that ingredients are ready for use by checking quality and estimating production needs
• Prepare all the cooking equipment before the cooking process begins
• Assist the Cook in preparing and cooking food items according to instructions
• Ensure that food ingredients meet quality standards and check expiration dates
• Manage inventory and report needs to the Head Chef
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and follow food safety procedures
• Assist in presenting food attractively
• Use tools safely and follow guidelines to avoid injury
