Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our organization. You will work closely with our Project / Operation Manager, operator, equipment manufacturer, and clients to deliver successful implementations, ensure smooth and efficient processes, optimize productivity, and contribute to the company’s overall success. The ideal candidate has excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Depending on skillset, this individual will co-manage various engineering, implementations, operations, and agriculture-related tasks pertinent to WasteX including, but not limited to:

  1. Lead and oversee the implementation of projects, including equipment installation, training, and data collection at client sites;
  2. Ensure the timely completion of project milestones while upholding high-quality standards;
  3. Coordinate and manage daily operational activities to guarantee efficient workflow and adherence to set timelines;
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, identify potential areas for enhancement, and implement best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity;
  5. Play a key role in the start-up and commissioning of projects, ensuring a smooth transition from planning to execution phases;
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to operations, including inventory management, procurement, and client communications;
  7. Oversee and manage logistics for various projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and effective communication with stakeholders;
  8. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to provide valuable insights and recommendations for operational improvements;
  9. Proactively identify operational challenges and issues, working towards timely resolution, and escalating critical matters to the appropriate stakeholders when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Licensed professional engineer (graduated within the last 5 years) preferably with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Field experience is a plus.
  • Research and Development experience is a plus.
  • Willing to pursue advanced learning pathways in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or Circular Economy fields.
  • Willing to travel 50% of the time and be deployed on site for a minimum of one (1) week per deployment instance.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously; excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently.

Offer

  • Monthly salary up to USD 400-500 depending on experience
  • Covered expenses for field trips to farms and locations within Indonesia
