We are currently partnering with a one of the leading data center company who is looking for a competent HSE Manager to help them in this time of growth.

Job Description

  • Support the Country Head of HSE in developing and implementing a comprehensive HSE Management System, including processes, procedures, and programs that align with the company's framework.
  • Assist in maintaining the country's HSE Management System and coordinate internal and external audits, including supporting the certified accreditation process.
  • Oversee and manage HSE compliance across construction projects (including A&A and customer fit-outs) and data center (DC) operations, ensuring adherence to company standards, statutory regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners and their on-site management teams to ensure the effective implementation and upkeep of the HSE Management System.
  • Work closely with the data center operations team and contractors to ensure all activities are planned and executed safely, complying with all legal and company HSE standards.
  • Review and provide input on high-risk processes and relevant documentation for construction projects and DC operations, including risk assessments, safe work procedures, and equipment licenses, while overseeing high-risk work execution.
  • Conduct semi-annual HSE compliance audits for construction and A&A projects, prepare reports, follow up on findings, and ensure closure of issues with relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform regular HSE inspections, task observations, and walkdowns for both construction and operational activities, and ensure all action points are followed through to completion.
  • Monitor and oversee all HSE incidents and near misses, ensuring they are reported, investigated, and managed according to the company's Incident Management Standards.
  • Review incident reports and investigations for accuracy and follow injury management protocols where applicable, in compliance with company standards.
  • Attend all relevant HSE meetings for construction and data center operations, taking minutes when needed as directed by the Country Head of HSE.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing HSE programs, procedures, and awareness initiatives for the company's business units.
  • Facilitate the collection and dissemination of HSE knowledge, lessons learned from incidents, and best practices to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support additional HSE activities and initiatives as assigned by the Country Head of HSE for both construction projects and DC operations.


The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Recognised HSE-related professional certification and/or accreditation is a prerequisite requirement.
  • Technical knowledge knowledge and experience in the field of HSE management, preferrably in the data center environment.
  • Exposure and knowledge of international HSE standards and best practices will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in managing HSE in construction with at least 2 years of the experience in a live asset operation environment. HSE experience in the data center construction and facility management space is definitely and added advantage.
  • Experienced in the ecelopment and roll-out of HSE management systems, processes, and programmes, with knowledge in conducting data analytics and reporting leading and lagging statistical indicators.
  • Experienced in managing and driving positive HSE outcomes within a challenging environment.
  • Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Experience in communicating with statutory authorities and industry bodies, in particular regard to HSE matters.
