Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to manage and oversee the accounting operations of a nationwide F&B retail company. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting management, with a preference for those with experience in restaurants or F&B outlets. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial records and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the company’s accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, in line with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support business operations.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement in accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and supply chain, to ensure financial data is accurately reflected in business activities.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, providing all necessary documentation and reports.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase accounting efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 6-8+ years of finance management experience, with a strong preference for those with experience in the restaurant or F&B industry.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax compliance.
  • Proven track record in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
