We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and drive the sales of our chemical products to B2B clients in sectors such as manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, shipping, and other industrial industries. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, leading a sales team, and achieving sales targets while expanding market share within the chemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company's market share in the chemical industry. Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, targeting key sectors such as manufacturing, oil & gas, mining, and shipping.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure peak performance and achievement of individual and team sales targets. Set clear goals and provide ongoing coaching and development for team members.
  • Target Achievement: Ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded through effective leadership, strategic planning, and market engagement. Monitor and analyze team performance, providing feedback and continuous development to drive results.
  • Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and develop effective strategies to penetrate these markets. Assess market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies. Ensure long-term partnerships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Planning & Reporting: Create annual sales plans, assign individual targets, and monitor progress regularly. Prepare monthly sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide strategic recommendations for improvements to senior management.
  • Competitor Analysis: Regularly evaluate competitors and develop strategies to help the company maintain a competitive position in the market.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee the full sales cycle, including lead generation, negotiations, closing deals, and post-sale relationship management. Ensure all sales activities align with the company's objectives and values.
  • Presentations & Demonstrations: Lead presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, ensuring the company's chemical products are effectively communicated and positioned.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth sales operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in any field (Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related disciplines preferred).
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial sectors or chemical products.
  • Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Leadership & Management: Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and developing sales teams to achieve high performance.
  • Sales Skills: Expertise in managing the sales process, including lead generation, negotiation, closing, and account management.
  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of the industrial market, particularly in the chemical products sector. Ability to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong ability to negotiate and build relationships at all levels, from technical stakeholders to executive decision-makers.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Proactive & Results-Oriented: High level of initiative, goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in sales-related software and CRM systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Presentation Skills: Proficient in delivering impactful presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Mobility: Must possess valid driving licenses (SIM A and SIM C) and be willing to travel as needed to meet with clients and oversee regional sales operations.
