The Opportunity

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Oversee and review the work done by the finance team. Produce financial reports related to budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expenses. Develop long-term business plans based on these reports.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Create and manage budgets for the organization. Forecast financial trends and identify potential risks or opportunities.
  • Internal Controls and Process Improvement: Strengthen current internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Identify areas for process improvement within the finance department.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with external auditors and tax consultant (agents). Work closely with other departments to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Provide financial insights to support sustainable growth. Brainstorm ways to maintain or reduce company costs.

To Be Successful, You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field. An analytical mind.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • Commercial and business acumen. Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data. Ability to stick to time constraints.
  • Good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations, and requirements.
  • Certified in Tax Brevet A/ B is preferably.
