Role Description

This is a full-time Business Development Manager (Research Solutions) role at Ravenry. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with sales, including identifying new market opportunities, engaging with potential clients, and negotiating and closing deals. The role is based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with flexibility for some remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Generating new leads through cold or warm outreach
  • Organising and leading sales meetings with potential clients to identify opportunities, scope requirements, and deepen client relationships
  • Implementing relevant sales framework at every step of the sales process
  • Tracking and managing sales activities on CRM tools
  • Creating sales proposals including developing framework for research solutions, pricing, and case study creation
  • Developing relevant sales collaterals for clients (info documents, case studies, etc)
  • Managing and achieving agreed targets including input and output KPI’s
  • Collaborating with research team to ensure timely and quality delivery of results to the client
  • Managing current client relationships through regular communication and engagement
  • Supporting the team in sales and marketing activities such as through conferences, speaking engagements, and other branding and marketing campaigns

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of consultative sales experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in research or consulting industries, in the positions of analyst, consultant or project manager
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Has a strong current network of clients and prospects in the research and strategy fields
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Good presentation and networking skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
