Axiometrix Solutions APAC, (Currently owns AP, GRAS, imc leading brands) is seeking a Business Development Manager. This exciting and high-profile position will report into the APAC Regional Distribution Manager and will be based in Indonesia.

As a ‘hunter’ of the Distribution team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing Channel Partner programs designed to enhance awareness and drive demand generation, ultimately supporting the business objectives of our channel partners. You will oversee the marketing initiatives and new product launches for associated products within assigned partnerships. By consolidating the needs of partners and end-users, you will align their requirements with input from product lines and regional teams to create an optimized marketing strategy.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with Channel Managers, Product Line Marketing Managers, and Regional Sales and Marketing teams to implement innovative sales and marketing programs that engage customers, strengthen industry presence, and attract new clientele. Additionally, you will contribute valuable insights to strategic sales and marketing plans, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.

Roles and responsibilities

-Developing a solid and trusting relationship with the distribution partners and end-users.

-Strategic planning to improve and manage distributor partner performance and focal point for gathering market data, market share information, price positioning data and competitive information

-Prepares and gives presentations at Business Reviews, conferences, exhibitions, and seminars

-Negotiating annual and ongoing contracts with the distributor partners and establishing a timeline of performance management.

-Developing a complete understanding of distributor partner needs.

-Gather sales out forecasts and funnel management information

-Analyse data to identify potential areas of improvement and provide a bespoke customer relationship management.

-Collaborate with distributor partners and other departments in Sales and Marketing, Product Lines to ensure business goals are met.

-Working with sales and marketing teams to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all distributor partner needs met.

-Collaborating with distributor employees and other staff to ensure adequate training is provided to ensure understanding of products.

-Track KPIs and report on distributor partner performance to stakeholders.

-Ensures the development and implementation of efficient sales & marketing programs for assigned channel partners for existing and future products, to support the global revenue plans

-Focal point for gathering market data, market share information, price positioning data and competitive information

Job requirements

-Minimum of 5-years experience with demonstrated success in a comparable marketing or sales role. Specific knowledge of the Test and Measurement industry is essential.

-Results oriented with ability to think out of the box.

-Ability to work with the given resources and making 1 + 1 = 3.

-Demonstrated, highly developed analytical capability and market research techniques

-Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, English (both oral and written). Japanese/Korean are considered a significant plus.

-Interpersonal communication skills at different organisational levels and a confident and enthusiastic manner with a strong personal motivation to succeed.

-Work is performed with a minimum of direction and supervision. You will have significant latitude in determining work objectives and goals.

-Must be able to operate in varied work situations with a high degree of complexity, requiring ingenuity and creativity.

-Extensive domestic and international travel is required.

-Problem solving aptitude.
