We are actively searching for a Technical Project Manager to join our growing team in Bali. As we expand, we aim to build an exceptional team to drive the development and scaling of our backend capabilities, leading cross-functional projects to deliver robust solutions using Agile project management methodologies.
What’s the Role?
As a Technical Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end technical projects, particularly within our event-driven microservice platform, ensuring timely, quality delivery.
- Leading Agile project management processes such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and designers, to drive platform development and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Translating complex technical requirements into actionable project plans, scopes, and timelines.
- Tracking project progress through key metrics like velocity and burndown, and making data-driven adjustments when needed.
- Identifying, mitigating, and communicating risks and issues effectively to stakeholders.
- Facilitating seamless coordination between technical and non-technical teams to drive project success.
- Ensuring all project components meet our high standards of quality, security, performance, and scalability.
- Researching and introducing new Agile tools and frameworks to optimize project workflows and delivery.

What We Require
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager leading complex software development projects.
- Expertise in Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g.,Linear, JIRA, Confluence, Asana, Github, Trello, Clickup, Notion, etc).
- Experience managing projects within event-driven architectures, microservices, and relevant backend technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between engineering, product, and design.
Technical Expertise:
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, and Blockchain.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, environment, programming language such as python and its versatile frameworks/libraries related to AI.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker) and its role in scalable project delivery.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes, version control, and deployment automation.
- Ability to break down technical requirements into clear project deliverables and timelines.
Agile Leadership & Teamwork:
- Experience leading teams using Agile methodologies, ensuring iterative development and continuous delivery of high-quality software.
- Ability to coach teams in Agile practices, helping them optimize their workflows and efficiency.
- Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work alongside engineers, product managers, and designers to achieve project goals.
Security & Performance:
- Understanding of security principles and best practices in software development.
- Ability to ensure that performance and scalability are considered throughout the project lifecycle.
Communication & Risk Management:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Expertise in identifying potential project risks and proactively addressing them to ensure project success.
- Continuous Learning & Adaptability:
- Commitment to continuous improvement, both in project management practices and in understanding evolving technologies and trends.
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and environments.
Preferred (but not essential):
- Experience in the event industry or similar sectors.
- Open-source contributions or a portfolio of previous technical project management work.
- Experience developing and managing blockchain-based systems.
