Job Description:

As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth strategy by identifying and developing new business opportunities. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to build strategic relationships, increase market share, and contribute to the long-term success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Create, implement, and monitor strategic business development plans that align with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to drive growth and maximize business potential.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, and finance) to align business development strategies and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Participate in negotiations and contract discussions to close deals effectively.
  • Track and report on performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business development goals and KPIs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in a high-growth, internet-based company.
  • Strong understanding of digital and internet business models, with a demonstrated ability to navigate and succeed within this space.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with all stake holders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and closing business opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior work experience in internet or technology-based industries (e-commerce, SaaS, online platforms, fintech, etc.).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, online customer acquisition, and product management within an internet business context.
