Responsibilities:
• Conducting product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors.
• Sourcing materials, goods, products, and service and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budget for purchases.
• Process orders using a purchasing system.
• Performing inventory inspections and reordering supplies and stock as necessary.
• Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year experience in textile or garment
• Proven working experience as a purchasing staff
• Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practice (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors).
• Understanding of supply chain procedures.
• Proficient in MS Office Excel and purchasing system
• excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
