Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the applicable contract, the agreed schedule and budget, and to quality and safety standards commensurate with the company's policies on HSEQ, and to the standards expected of a world-class manufacturing company supplying equipment to top-tier global oil and gas corporate clients."
2. Ensure that the works required under the project are properly scheduled into the overall facility production plan.
3. Work with the Project Director to review current systems and approaches and help establish improved project management systems, as well as implement improved systems and methods across all projects.
4. Comply with existing safety and health regulations (wear all PPE as required by superiors)."
5. Comply with the Quality Management System, OHSAS, and other systems required by the company.
6. Accountable for the planning, procurement, and execution of a project."
7. Senior Project Managers may sign formal letters to customers, reply to critical customer email correspondence, approve sub-vendor POs, and perform other functions of the Project Director as delegated, or in their absence.

Behavior Requirements

1. Minimum engineering degree or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a Project Manager.
3. Fluent in/understanding of organization-related tools and processes.
4. Fluent in business English communication, both written and spoken.
5. Understanding and ability to operate digital applications.
6. Comprehension of business principles.
7. Strong commercial awareness.
8. Emphasis on quality and safety.
9. Familiarity with Integrated Management Systems.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
11. Proficiency in budget management and devising solutions to meet budgetary limitations.
