About The Role

We are looking for a Long Tail Marketing Sales Manager (merchant services) for GoTo Financial who will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies esp by orchestrating campaigns or marketing initiatives to drive adoption and revenue growth by identifying opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue. The PMM will work closely with the internal marketing team (creative, CRM, event), cross-functional teams (incl product management, customer support, and sales), and external agencies to gather insights, design and execute campaigns, and create sales enablement materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in product management or marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct research to understand merchants' needs and behavior and analyze product performance data to identify opportunities while Continuously monitoring and analyzing data to create campaign or marketing reports
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing plans and go-to-market strategy for Midtrans solutions targeted towards mass merchants especially medium businesses and enterprises
  • Create product positioning and messaging to differentiate our products from competitors while running A/B tests and analyzing results to optimize conversion rates and user acquisition.
  • Creating and managing marketing campaigns across various channels, including search, social media, and email marketing by working together with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver the plan
  • Compare and benchmark against industry standards, continuous improvements seeking the best UI/UX
  • Translate product features and benefits into compelling messaging that resonates with Midtrans’s target audience - from developers to business owners
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless go-to-market strategy for new and existing products.
  • Create and manage a variety of marketing materials, including website copy, case studies, blog posts, and email campaigns
  • Develop strong relationships with key partners and influencers within the merchant ecosystem
  • Ensure conversion of long tail merchants is consistently increasing

What You Will Need

  • 5+ years of experience that can span product marketing and/or product management and developer relations, preferably within the payments/fintech industry.
  • 3+ years of marketing or go-to-market experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience working in B2B settings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience translating technical features into benefits for a technical audience, delighted to work with other stakeholders (BI/Data, Business, Product, Leadership)
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive growth
  • Strong understanding of the Indonesian business landscape, particularly the needs of medium and large merchants
  • Strong business sense and problem-solving skills and Data-driven approach for analyzing marketing performance metrics
  • Customer obsession and passionate in marketing with a deep understanding of the latest trends in payments and e-commerce
  • Strong communication skills to weave strategy, insights, priorities and plans forward into a structured and organized storyline at all levels of management
  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven and delighted with statistical analysis and figures
  • BONUS: Experience managing or working closely with the mass merchant segment and experience with marketing automation tools.
