About the Company:

Our client was restructured from several supply chain service and went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2011. This company offered commodity procurement and supply business mainly feature plastic chemicals, metal minerals, agricultural products, forest products and mechanical and electrical products, such as five general resins, EVA, fish meal, whey powder, palm oil, latex, steel, non-ferrous metals, automobiles, etc.

The Mandarin Export Import and Logistics Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the export-import processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with traders and financial institutions. This role involves strategic planning, coordination of technical matters, and ensuring the efficient handling of logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and export-import management, with fluency in both Mandarin and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Export Operations Management: Oversee export processes, monitor income generation, and manage cash flow to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Documentation Coordination: Organize and manage all export documentation, including the timely submission of vessel ETDs to financial institutions.
  • Market Research & Data Analysis: Provide market data and research to support purchasing decisions and commodity trading considerations.
  • Technical Coordination: Collaborate with buyers to address technical issues related to commodity trading.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with traders and financial institutions, ensuring seamless operation of SiMoDIS (Sistem Informasi Monitoring Devisa terIntegrasi Seketika).
  • Vendor & Service Oversight: Ensure high-quality service delivery within the company and with external vendors.
  • Strategic Logistics Planning: Lead and direct the strategic planning for logistics operations, including the development of efficient loading/unloading procedures, route planning, and fleet management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor, coordinate, and process all export-import activities in accordance with relevant regulatory standards and laws.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate export-import reporting to relevant agencies and authorities.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues arising from both external and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

  • Job Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, export, and import management.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in logistics, export-import management, or related fields are an advantage.
