The ideal candidate will have an ability to craft strategies and maintain an efficient operation to support the supply chain business needs. The candidate should be comfortable switching tasks and working cross-functionally with different functions within the organization. The ideal candidate also should have prior experience in managing operations and maintaining achievement of operational service level quality in the logistics & transportation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create a delivery plan, manage and monitor the shipments and processes in order to deliver on approved operational plans and to continuously enhance service delivery to the customers
  • Recommend optimal transport modes, routes, or frequency and order the truck based on the customer's needs
  • Inform the availability of truck and vehicle data to the customer
  • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times appropriately, and transport costs
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders in the logistics process
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in any major. Overseas universities will be advantageous
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience, 2+ years in a managerial role in logistics & supply chain experience
  • Must come from 3PL/4PL/5PL company. Logistic background is a must.
  • Have a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and constant change
  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and negotiation skills
  • A mindset of outserving customers, responsive to inquiries and issues
  • Have a huge network in the trucking/ logistics community
  • Passionate in technology, including the ability to learn about and evangelize technology products
