The Challenge:
Indonesia's livestock sector plays a critical role in the economy, but faces hurdles that hinder its full potential. We're looking for individuals who can help create a roadmap to transform this sector, making it more productive, sustainable, and profitable. We are looking for individual experts to help Indonesia achieve self-sufficiency in beef and dairy production by 2026.
Your Role:
- Analyze: Examine current policies, pinpoint gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Research: Delve into the industry's current state to uncover growth opportunities.
- Collaborate: Engage with government officials, farmers, and other key players.
- Strategize: Develop a detailed action plan with clear objectives and timelines.
- Innovate: Propose new policies and identify ways the Islamic Development Bank can support the sector's growth.
Open Positions:
- Policy Analyst: Shape the regulatory landscape for a thriving ruminant sector.
- Livestock Specialist: Provide technical expertise on animal breeding, health, and sustainable farming practices.
- Ruminant Value Chain Expert: Analyze the entire value chain to identify areas for optimization and growth.
Qualifications:
- A master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- At least 10 years of experience in your area of expertise.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent English proficiency.
