Our client, a technology-based platform is looking to hire Head of Sales / Senior Manager to be part of their elite team in Indonesia. Our client's innovative solution is believed to be one of the promising products launched since their establishment. As part of their expansion in Indonesia, they are hiring this role to be based in Bali. Backed by reputable investors and shareholders, they are looking for a well-networked talent to grow their business.

Job Description

Our client is looking to bring on board an energetic and ambitious candidate to join their growing business. Other responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing growth opportunities through strategies and partnerships, especially targeting the hospitality, tourism and F&B Industry in Bali.
  • Achieving revenue targets by signing new corporate partnerships and renewals. This includes cross-sales of their global accounts and localise the needs to Indonesian market.
  • Building and developing sales and account strategy through maintaining healthy pipeline, and also ensuring sales progression and deal closure.
  • Identifying, evaluating, qualifying and chasing solid leads within the market.
  • Analysing market trends, competition and customer need.
  • Researching and identifying new prospects and leads through various channels.
  • Organising internal and external sales and marketing materials.
  • Developing and delivering best-practice comprehensive plan, with customer-success mindset.
  • Managing multiple stakeholders who are from diverse international background.
  • Supporting the launch of the business successfully, and ensuring the growth of the business.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationship with potential and existing clients through collaboration (both local and regional).
  • Leading negotiation with potential clients and ensuring that the deals are closed in the timely manners.
  • Working closely with marketing, sales, operation, product and technology team to ensure the right alignment.


The Successful Applicant

Only shortlisted Indonesian candidates will be contacted, and ideally, you will have in-depth knowledge and passion of the start-up technology ecosystem in Indonesia, and has strong track records with network within the hospitality, tourism or F&B businesses.

Excellent English communication in both verbal and written is a must.

Other requirements include:

  • At least 8 years of working management in B2B2C environment, with preference towards OTA, Hospitality, Tourism, or F&B Industry.
  • Exposure in business development, or client-facing role is ideal.
  • Master degree, or MBA from a top tier business school are optional, but Bachelor's from related degree is a must.
  • Ability to front meetings, and deal with C-level decision makers from across industries.
  • Strong resilience with excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to set clear measurable objectives, delegate responsibilities, assesses, recognise and reward performance.
  • Drive and hunger to achieve results, entrepreneur mindset.
  • Independent, self-starter, detail-oriented, highly organised, initiative, and the ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent business acumen, analytic skill and willingness to be hands-on, and work within tight deadlines.
  • High commitment, confidence, motivation and flexibility.
  • Target-oriented, and willing to work in a sales environment.
