As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process at our client's packaging company in Bekasi. You will be responsible for managing a team of production staff and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans and strategies to meet company objectives
- Manage and supervise a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure that all production equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Collaborate with other departments such as quality control, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth production and timely delivery of products
- Monitor and control production costs to ensure profitability
- Develop and implement safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all production staff
- Prepare production reports and present them to senior management
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to improve production processes
- Conduct regular performance reviews with production staff and provide feedback and coaching for their professional development
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the packaging industry
- Strong knowledge of production processes and techniques
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software
