About The Role

McConnell Dowell seeks an experienced Project Manager for our upcoming projects in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all project activities, ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and timely completion.
  • Manage construction schedules, budget control, and statutory approvals.
  • Administer the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical, commercial and functional direction related to all aspects of contracting, and material management, including the administration of project tenders, subcontracts, purchase orders, expediting, traffic and logistics, warehousing, supplier quality surveillance and supplier.
  • Maintain effective client relationships, resolve claims, and ensure timely reporting.
  • Promote a professional company image and manage industrial relations.
  • Oversee project close-out and ensure comprehensive reporting at completion.
  • Maintain strong and effective industrial relations within the framework of the applicable legislation and site agreements.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have;

  • Professional English communication skills (verbal and writing).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and a minimum of fifteen years experience in project management / contractual engineering.
  • Experience in civil marine works projects i.e., jetty, wharf, pier, port etc.
  • Experience in construction projects in South East Asia.
