- Provide strategic oversight for the organization's technical infrastructure, encompassing hardware, software, servers, databases, and network systems.
- Direct IT operations while managing cross-functional teams of technical professionals and collaborating closely with business stakeholders.
- Oversee the selection, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of technology infrastructure.
- Define and track service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.
- Manage vendor partnerships to uphold contractual service levels and ensure deliverables are met effectively.
- Ensure all IT operations align with internal policies and comply with relevant data privacy and security regulations.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard operations.
- Supervise the end-to-end lifecycle of software system development, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
A successful IT Manager should have:
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
