£30,484 - £32,178 per annum, pro rata + excellent benefits

The Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH) aims to be a world leading institute for sports and exercise medicine. Its mission is to provide excellence in the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of sports injuries and illnesses, whilst bridging the gap between elite sport and recreational physical activity to support the improvement of the health of the nation.

Reporting to the ISEH General Manager, the purpose of the clinic administrator is to support the smooth delivery of The Advanced Brain Health Clinic. In this role, you will be able to facilitate the patient’s experience by providing a 5-star and world class service to our internal and external stakeholders through a seamless patient journey with a high level of customer care at all times whilst handling a high volume of activity. The clinic administrator will undertake a variety of work within the department including booking initial and follow up appointments, completing billing and invoicing, ensuring clinics run to time and the team have all of the resources and equipment they require. We are looking for staff that are passionate about helping individuals make a difference to their sports, lives and health.

What You'll Do

  • Greet patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour, ensuring they feel supported and valued from the moment they arrive.
  • Manage patient/participant scheduling across shared calendar
  • Maintain clinical databases and patient records
  • Facilitate referral pathways and coordinate patient care
  • Optimize clinic workflow and operational efficiency
  • Drive participant/control recruitment and establish communication strategy to enhance overall patient engagement
  • Develop and deliver analytics reports on key performance metrics
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, maintain project management planner
  • Main point of contact for Advanced Brain Health Clinic patient enquiries
  • Study site procurement
  • Oversight of biological samples including organization of off-site storage and coordinating with external processing facilities
  • Organize technical support for various clinic operations including tech management, software systems, and medical devices
  • Handle confidential patient and research documentation in compliance with GDPR
  • Coordinate communication between team members and external stakeholders (RFU and FA)

What You'll Bring

  • Previous admin experience within a hospital setting is essential
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
