Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently promote Agile and support Scrum teams to follow Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Become a servant leader for one or multiple Scrum teams, working hand-in-hand with Product Owners, Development teams and Stakeholders.
- Coaching, mentoring and provide Agile leadership by leading with example as a role model who adapt and work with Agile values.
- Work closely with Product Owners to manage product backlog.
- Facilitate discussions, decision making, and resolve conflicts within the team.
- Able to understand blockers/problems and proactively help Scrum team to find the solution.
- Collaborate with other Scrum masters to increase the effectiveness of using Agile frameworks within the organization and possible improvements on working culture.
- Conduct necessary training/sharing session for Scrum teams and organization about Agile methodology and Scrum framework.
- Bring up visibility and transparency regarding team’s circumstances to stakeholders. Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.
- Continuously improve the process and workflows to boost team efficiency by tracking and reporting on development team metrics.
- Collaborate with other teams within and outside organization with positive, clear and constructive communication.
What you need to have:
- Minimum 3 years practical experience as Scrum Master / Agile Coach.
- Having Scrum or Agile certification is a big bonus (e.g. PSM I or CSM).
- Passionate about Agile, open minded with any Agile practice; understands how each practice (eg. Scrum/Kanban/Design Sprints/Lean/TDD, etc) fits into the specific context to improve the quality of the product.
- Confident to coach and facilitate across the level of organization. Familiar in monitoring/tracing team’s health and performance. Also measure product’s value deliverable using Agile metrics.
- Having technical background in software development with minimum 2 years experiences is preferable Experience in using Jira is a plus.
- Able to work with teams from various backgrounds.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Great communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and having growth mindset.
