Job Description
- Prepare all financial reports to Headquarters.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including management and statutory accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and profit & loss statements.
- Manage AR & AP, petty cash and bank account.
- Handle all local invoice issues.
- Oversee cash flow, including forecast and manage working capital requirements.
- Responsible for internal and external audit.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and other relevant regulations.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecast future financial performance, and analyze variances.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of finance or accounting experience, with some experience in an operational finance role and/or within the maritime industry.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with people of all levels.
- Able to work under intense pressure.
