Job Description:
1. Lead S&OP Process: Drive the S&OP process across the organization, ensuring alignment between demand planning, supply chain, and category management to meet business objectives.
2. Supply Planning: Oversee supply planning activities, including capacity planning, and inventory management, to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
3. Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory strategies that balance service levels and working capital requirements, optimizing inventory levels across the supply chain.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders and drive discussion across the organization, including sales, finance, operations, and category managements, to ensure cohesive planning and execution.
5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, leveraging data and analytics to drive efficiencies and enhance performance.
6. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply.
7. Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
8. Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of supply chain professionals
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
2. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on supply and operations planning. Previous experience in a leadership role is required.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and ERP systems.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
7. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
8. Advanced Excel skills; experience with supply chain software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
9. Strong understanding of inventory management principles, demand planning, and production scheduling.
