Job Summary:

We’re looking for a Key Account Executive (KAE) – MT/LMT to support the growth and management of our key accounts across the Modern Trade (MT) and Local Modern Trade (LMT) channels. As a KAE, you’ll play a critical role in building strong customer relationships, executing business plans, and ensuring the smooth implementation of programs and promotions. Working closely with internal teams and key stakeholders, you'll help deliver value-driven solutions that align with both customer goals and company objectives.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid grasp of sales operations, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of business plans that drive shared value for our customers, shoppers, and company.
  • Maintain and strengthen long-term partnerships by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Assist in preparing and tracking annual budgets, sales targets, and key performance metrics (P&L awareness is a plus).
  • Coordinate and monitor marketing and promotional program execution, ensuring all initiatives are delivered effectively and on time.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to contribute to Joint Business Plans and strategic account initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with key personnel in National Modern Trade (MT) and Local Modern Trade (LMT) accounts.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of agreed strategies and promotional programs.
  • Monitor brand availability, distribution, and visibility within assigned accounts.
  • Manage the administrative tasks related to account execution and ensure compliance with internal and customer-specific requirements.
  • ⁠Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during program execution to ensure minimal disruption to customer relationships and business goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • ⁠Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in Key Account Management, Trade Marketing, or Sales in Modern Trade / Local Modern Trade channels.
  • Familiarity with trading terms, sales cycles, and retail execution standards.
  • Proven ability to support account strategies and deliver on KPIs and sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Self-driven and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
