Job Profile of Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Should be able to sell software solutions or customized solutions project and have Industry knowledge of Warehousing, Logistics, Distribution, Supply chain Management, Freight & Transport segments.
  • Defines a vision and creates a winning strategy and responds to specific market needs, generating competitive advantage on existing markets and developing consistent new revenue streams that will guarantee short- and long-term achievements
  • Responsible for building aggressive and value-based market penetration strategies and team
  • Meeting and exceeding set sales quotas while adhering to companie’s sales rules of engagement
  • Create a well-qualified pipeline of prospective opportunities by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with key decision-makers
  • Research, source, make initial contact and meet potential clients at their locations to accurately qualify the prospect and establish needs
  • Prepare and present proposals and close new accounts in targeted verticals
  • Develop and maintain Sales Territory Plan and ensure achievement of Company sales targets and profitability
  • Network and actively participate in User Groups, Associations, and Trade Shows in targeted verticals, including after-hours events
  • Provide timely feedback to the management regarding performance, sales activity reports and account strategy concerns
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software direct and reseller sales channels
  • Work closely with the Marketing Specialist to creatively develop on-going Sales Scripting whether for Cold Calling, Emails, Presentations, Public-Speaking
  • Continually learning about new products and improving selling skills

Professional Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development for software products for more than 10 to 15 years
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts
  • Ability to work as an individual driven and grow team.
  • Must be open to travel as needed
  • Qualified candidates may be required to conduct an in-person presentation
