Role Description
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This is a full-time on-site role where you will be responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, and operations. You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations. This role requires strong technical acumen, program management expertise, and excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration, manage risks, and deliver high-impact results.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs across product, engineering, and operations teams.
- Define clear program goals, success metrics, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Break down strategic initiatives into executable projects and ensure alignment across squads and functional groups.
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers proactively to keep projects on track.
- Create and maintain program documentation, status updates, and executive reporting dashboards.
- Lead cross-functional meetings and ensure consistent communication and alignment among engineering, product, QA, and infrastructure teams.
- Champion process improvements and program delivery best practices, including agile methodologies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Track engineering and operational KPIs to measure program impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with leadership to manage resource allocation and support prioritization decisions.
- Support compliance and operational excellence by ensuring programs adhere to security, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or engineering leadership roles.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional technical projects from concept to delivery.
- Familiarity with software development processes, infrastructure systems, or cloud-native architectures.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Trello.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to align business goals with technical execution.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking KPIs and program metrics for continuous improvement.
- Ability to identify and manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across teams and timelines.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
