Product Manager - Medical Device (Consumable)
Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive recruitment company, is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational medical device company specializing in consumable medical products. As part of their ongoing expansion in Indonesia, our client is seeking an experienced Product Manager with a proven track record in the medical device sector, particularly in consumables. The position is based in Jakarta.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product strategies and tactical plans to ensure the successful positioning and growth of medical consumables in the Indonesian market.
- Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals to support product usage and gather insights for product development.
- Drive product launches, promotional activities, and lifecycle management aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments (sales, regulatory, supply chain, training) and regional/global teams to align on business goals.
- Provide technical training and product knowledge support to the sales team and distributors to maximize product adoption.
- Track performance metrics and generate regular reports for senior leadership on product growth and market performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biology, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in product management, marketing, or sales within the medical device industry, preferably focused on consumables.
- Experience working closely with hospitals, procurement teams, and medical professionals.
- Strong understanding of the Indonesian healthcare system and purchasing behavior within the medical consumables segment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage product portfolios and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
