For our group company, NKG Indonesia Imports, we are looking for an Accounting staff to support the Finance team in Jakarta. (f/m/d).
The position will be based in Jakarta and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Your Responsibilities
- Petty Cash & Banking:
- Record and report petty cash transactions, ensuring cash drawer balances.
- Prepare and validate payments via internet banking, ensuring timely processing before due dates.
- Verify sales payments before releasing coffee for delivery.
- Accounting & Reporting:
- Input daily journal entries into NAV (accounting software) and maintain proper documentation.
- Reconcile monthly stock counts and ensure alignment between inventory records and transactions.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and maintain fixed asset depreciation schedules.
- Support statutory audits, tax audits, and management reporting.
- Tax & Compliance:
- Prepare commercial invoices and VAT Invoices for customers and ensure timely submission.
- Assist in monthly tax reporting in Core Tax System and create withholding tax (WHT) documentation.
- Prepare file schedule of WHT 22 from customer, collect the bukti potong/receipt and do proper documentation.
- Maintain and update entertainment expense records for corporate income tax reporting.
- Ensure all fixed assets are insured and manage annual renewals.
- General Support:
- Handle reporting requirements for the central bank (SIMODIS) if needed.
- Prepare weekly LCE reports.
- Assist the Accounting Supervisor/Manager in meeting deadlines for audits and management reporting.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role more than 4 years.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NAV) and Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- International: Working in an international atmosphere in a growing and progressive company
