We are seeking IT Support in Indonesia to join the team in our office (Salatiga, Central Java).
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Respond to technical tickets and provide technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
- Contact clients, propose effective solutions, and ensure issues are resolved.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, CCTV, networking, and software issues.
- Perform system installations, updates, monitoring, and maintenance procedures for hardware, software, and networking system
- Perform backups and restore lost data as needed.
- Document processes and maintain service desk records.
- Provide minor technical or operational training
REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates from any degree in computer sciences, information technology, or who have equivalent experience in IT Support.
- At least 2 years of experience as Linux admin, help desk, sys admin, technical support, data center technician, or similar.
- Experience with Virtualization (Proxmox, VMware, VirtualBox, QEMU, Hyper-V, etc) is a plus
- Extensive experience in Linux-based servers and network equipment (installing, monitoring, maintaining) is a plus
- Experience backup automation and restoring processes.
- Able to keep up with advancements in networking and computer troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills in English both oral and written
- Applicants must be willing to work in Salatiga.
